REMOTE - QA Automation Engineer (UI Team)

Job Description
An employer is seeking an Automation Engineer to join a large technology company. This candidate will be joining the home security branch to automate manual workflows and handle automation testing for new products and features. There is a high volume of test cases being introduced to the regression suite, so there is a need to automate these tests to reduce the load on the regression team and meet the 2-week regression commitments. This individual will be assigned a number of test issues to automate at the beginning of each sprint and will use Appium and Java to test the User Interface. The majority of the day will be spent test planning, creating test plans, and automating tests. This opportunity gives someone the opportunity to work with AWS, cloud apps, and firmware, and allows them to be creative and curious within the role.
Compensation:
$30/hour to $35/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. - 2+ years of experience with Automation QA Engineering
- Strong experience with Appium and Selenium
- Programming experience with Java
- UI testing experience
- Ability to think outside the box, innovate, and simplify complex problems null
