Overview:

The Director of Digital Marketing is a senior leadership position responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote Haffner's brand, products, and services. This role involves enhancing brand awareness, driving website traffic, and acquiring leads/customers, social media and media planning. The Director of Digital Marketing also oversees the digital marketing strategy, ensuring its alignment with the company's business goals. The Director of Digital Marketing is a crucial role in today's digital-first world, requiring a blend of strategic thinking, technical skills, and leadership abilities. This role not only drives the digital marketing efforts at Haffner's but also plays a significant part in shaping its overall marketing strategy and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

Develop a comprehensive digital marketing strategy roadmap that connect the dots across various channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, CRM/loyalty platform among others).Develop digital marketing strategies (D2C and B2B) aligned with the overall brand objectives and business goals.Partner with key stakeholders to build consumer (D2C) and customer (B2B) journeys that intersect our business units (Retail - C-Store, Car Wash, Heating Oil & Propane - HOPS)Lead digital agency regarding the re-platform of Haffner's.comDefine digital content needs to ensure Haffner's.com and social delivers on brand and business objectives while remaining relevant to consumer passions.2. Team Leadership and Management:

Build out digital marketing teamProvide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.Cultivate an integrated partnership with peers to ensure transparency, planning and implementation are in sync.3. Campaign Management:

Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, display advertising, etc.Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.4. Data Analysis and Reporting:

In partnership with digital agency define analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, website traffic, and other key metrics.Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance and provide actionable insights.Set Digital marketing KPI's5. Budget Management:

Develop and manage the digital marketing budget.Allocate budget resources effectively to maximize ROI.6. Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments (e.g., C-store, HOPS, HR, etc.) to support their goals through digital marketing initiatives.Communicate effectively with senior management and other key stakeholders.7. Staying Current with Industry Trends:

Keep abreast of the latest trends and changes in digital marketing.Implement best practices and innovative strategies to stay ahead of competitors.Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.2. Experience:

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies.3. Technical Skills:

Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).Expertise in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media advertising.4. Leadership and Management Skills:

Exceptional leadership and team management skills.Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.5. Analytical and Strategic Thinking:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Strategic thinker with a creative mindset.6. Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to present ideas and campaign performance to senior management clearly.7. Other Skills:

Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Compensation:

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications. For the purpose of this role, the minimum salary opportunity is:

PAY $120,000 / year.

Salary: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
