Playfly Sports is looking for an Ideation Creative Director to join our team in NYC.
The Ideation Creative Director will be responsible for leading the Playfly Creates Ideation team and crafting breakthrough custom platforms that maximize the potential of Playfly Sports’ collective offerings. This role is a key liaison within the Playfly Creates team to connect business strategy, design, creative activation, and data that are relevant to each unique stakeholder on a project-by-project basis. Candidates should be excited about playing a pivotal role in crafting innovative way for brands to reach and engage with fans.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
Lead the Ideation team within Playfly CreatesMaintain quality, production and development of each Ideation team memberBuild breakthrough marketing solutions that achieve partner needs and generate revenue across each Playfly Sports business unitDevelop custom 360 platforms including research, category information, and brand integration conceptsDrive partnership storytelling and coordinate the consistent delivery of high-quality, impactful narratives across all sales materials (one-sheets, decks, case studies, sizzle videos, etc.)Lead brainstorms and champion ideas from conception to pitchParticipate in sales meetings when necessary to present custom concepts directly to brand and/or agency contactsLiaise with other Playfly Sports business units, including Media, Global Partnerships, Sports Properties, Tech, Insights, etcServe as a creative partner to external agencies to provide design and creative oversightOther job-related duties as assignedWHAT YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of creative concept development experience in a broadcast/cable network, integrated marketing, sports league/team, brand, or agency environmentUnderstanding of the marketplace, client objectives, advertiser/sponsor/category nuances and Playfly capabilities to develop best-in-class marketing ideas to respond to client requests and needsContinually pushes creative boundaries with big, marketing ideas driven by consumer and client insightsMust be cross functional and well versed in all media/sponsorship platforms and emerging trendsMust have excellent presentation skills, strong communication, written and organization skillsAbility to adapt and multitask while managing various timelines and deadlines in a rapidly changing, high-growth environmentAbility to build positive relationships with business leaders, peers, and colleagues throughout the internal organization to ensure positive outcomes for Playfly Sports partnershipsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Power Point, Word, Excel, and OutlookTRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional travel may be required for company events or to client sites for specific projects
COMPENSATION
The pay range for this role is $170,000 - $190,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
