Job Description: Manager, Audience Development Partnerships

Dow Jones is seeking an Audience Development Manager, Partnerships to join our Performance Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the organic reach and audience growth of Dow Jones media properties, including The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and MarketWatch, through the development of new audience partnerships. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Product and the Newsroom, to identify and implement partnership development strategies that align with our business objectives. You will work on shared goals for audience and identify metrics that move the organization toward a sustainable audience strategy.

Responsibilities:

Audience Development Strategy: Support the development and execution of a comprehensive audience development strategy to drive organic reach and audience growth across Dow Jones media properties, keeping abreast of and driving success against new trends in the market

Partnership Development: Establish strategic partnerships with external organizations, platforms, and influencers to expand the reach and visibility of Dow Jones media properties. Identify and negotiate partnership opportunities that align with audience development goals and enhance brand positioning.

Content Optimization and Distribution: Analyze audience insights and engagement metrics and monitor changes in consumer behavior to optimize content distribution strategies and channels. Collaborate with the Newsroom and Product teams to support and enable content strategies that resonate with target audiences.

Performance Tracking and Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnership development initiatives. Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders, highlighting progress and recommending optimizations for improved results.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in audience development, digital marketing, or a related role within the media or publishing industry.

Proven track record of driving audience growth and engagement through strategic initiatives and partnerships.

Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, content distribution strategies, and audience segmentation.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.

Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product and Newsroom, to execute partnership development strategies.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders concurrently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.

Knowledge of the media landscape, including emerging trends and platforms, is highly desirable.

Passion for journalism, news, and staying informed about current events.

Pay Range: $105,000 - $130,000
