Overview

In the Marketing Content Manager position, you will help us bring our corporate, product, and customer stories to life. This will be achieved by working with the marketing team to write, edit, and proof all external-facing content and internal messaging and training content to ensure brand consistency and adherence to tone and voice.

Responsibilities

Write content for all our audiences across all stages in the funnel for our Janus International Group brands-including, but not limited to: R3, Facilitate, Janus Commercial, ASTA, BETCO, DBCI.Copy/edit content created by other teams to ensure compliance with our tone and voice and brand personality.Imbue SEO best practices into all web copy.Create content in simple and powerful language that is impactful and invokes an emotional response to act.Be diligent to ensure brand adherence and consistency across all communications.Expert at long-form storytelling and short-form punchy copy.Develop paid search ad copy and embrace a test-and-learn mentality.Expert at top-funnel, thought leadership writing as well as conversion-focused writing for demand gen and digital.Help evolve our tone and voice guidelines to align with changing needs.Perform the research needed to develop the story, take a data-driven approach by testing to validate assumptions, and optimize copy for SEO performance and growth.Become an expert in our products and audiences to create meaningful and actionable content that resonates with our target personas.Work closely and collaboratively with the design and web development team members to create compelling, creative, high-performing, and impactful brand campaigns.Create all types of content from blog posts, eBooks, case studies, video scripts, web pages, presentations, sales brochures, social and paid search ad copy, and more.Demonstrate executive presence when working with stakeholders across the company.Conduct internal and external interviews as assigned.Strategize and maintain an annual editorial calendar for all brands and across all editorial channels.Develop and nurture working relationships with publisher partners.Other duties as required.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Writing, English, or related areas.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a content strategist, copywriter, or similar role.A writing style that is simple, powerful, and impactful.Solid understanding of SEO and familiarity with SEO tools like Moz.A combination of B2B and B2C experience is preferable.A solid understanding of design thinking, user stories, and funnel-based storytelling.Proficient in the workflow tools such as Monday.com, Wrike, or Basecamp.Detail oriented and organized.Excellent writing and communication skills.Exceptional time management skills.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
