We are seeking an expert MCU SoC Design Lead with extensive experience in real-time system architecture, system specification, automotive safety, and security. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our next-generation automotive MCU solutions. You will provide both technical and organizational leadership, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and safety.

You will:

Lead the end-to-end design and development process of automotive SoCs, from concept to production.Define and develop real-time system architectures and specifications for automotive MCU products.Ensure compliance with automotive safety standards (ISO 26262) and security requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system architects, software engineers, and verification teams, to ensure cohesive product development.Manage and mentor a team of SoC designers, providing technical guidance and support.Oversee the implementation of RTL design, synthesis, and timing closure.Conduct design reviews, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.Interface with manufacturing teams to ensure a smooth transition from design to production.Drive continuous improvement in design methodologies and processes.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in our products.Ideally, you'll have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in SoC design, with a focus on automotive applications.Proven track record of leading successful SoC projects from concept to mass production.Expert knowledge in real-time system architecture and system specification.Strong understanding of automotive safety standards (ISO 26262) and security requirements.Proficient in digital design principles, RTL coding (VHDL/Verilog), and ASIC design flow.Experience with EDA tools for design, simulation, and verification (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics).Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.A plus if you have:

Experience with automotive MCU architectures and applications.Knowledge of embedded systems and software development.Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, etc.).Experience with power management and voltage regulation in automotive applications.

$130,000 - $190,000 a year

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $130,000 - $190,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
