Job Title: Senior Vice-President, Global Marketing

Here you’ll get to:

Serve as department head for label’s Global Marketing team

Lead label’s global marketing for US label repertoire

Develop and execute global marketing strategy by managing all aspects of international campaign

Deliver the overall artistic vision, providing the direction and motivation for a team of international product managers

Lead Global album launches in conjunction with the domestic team and Warner Music offices around the world ensuring seamless global launch.

Represent Global vision and needs to senior management, artists, managers and other key stakeholders.

Guide artists and management through marketing plans and promotional schedules.

Work in conjunction with the local team to establish best in class marketing and promotional plans ensuring maximum awareness while remaining on budget.

Work with label to plan, develop, and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns

Spearhead international online strategy including website, social media, youtube, etc. Expand and develop artists' global following across all platforms.

In conjunction with label operators, establish revenue targets and steps to achieving them.

Manage all marketing and sales elements with the US team and local offices, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

Oversee the management of artists promotional tours - flights, hotel, visa’s, and daily schedule on budget and within the company travel policy.

Responsible for managing marketing budgets and spend

Provide regular updates to artist management and domestic team on the artists global development including sales, chart positions, radio play, online stats. etc. while informating the territories of the artist's success in the U.S.

Oversee physical and digital production process ensuring all deadlines and release dates are met.

Work with affiliates to develop international product initiatives for special packages, singles, eps, bundles etc.

Maximize the opportunities of an artist signed in a 360 deal. Linking sales, touring, merchandising, fan club, endorsements, visual performances and D2F on a global level.

Develop non-traditional and traditional marketing strategies with the U.S label for both artist and label brands whilst working within the confines of specialist labels.

About you:

Comprehensive understanding and expertise of not only the artists that we are responsible for but also how best to set-up and develop each one of them in each of the world's key markets. To be able to communicate daily with affiliate staff worldwide and across all cultures as well as at home domestically. General fair communication & handling of artists, management and travel party, musicians, agents, promoters, 3rd party affiliates and suchlike.

Ability to work with a diverse repertoire and effectively interact, work, and develop meaningful relationships with people of various cultural backgrounds.

Ability to keep up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.

Ability to utilize data to inform marketing decisions and strategy

To be able to put together comprehensive marketing plans, promotional schedules and set timelines for each campaign, timings between commercial single/album releases for different regions, territories and markets.

An understanding of where each specialist campaign should start and where it should finish. Grass-roots, tastemakers, media champions, cheer-leaders and key media targets, etc. Experience of success in all of the above would even more enhance one’s ability to be super-competent at handling these responsibilities.

Digital & On-line marketing experience including advertising, partnerships social media, youtube and websites. Understanding of content windowing and roll out.

We’d love it if you also had:

Worldwide travel experience and a solid knowledge of the international marketplace, time-zones, languages, cultures, etc.

A comprehensive understanding of the ever changing digital world, taking into account which markets, territories, DSP’s, websites, on-line media outlets are evolving the quickest and having the most impact

Education Required:

BA University/College degree.

Related music industry experience. Management, Tour Management, Product Manager, Executive experience.

Salary Range

$240,000 to $300,000

Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
