Senior Engineer, MarTech and AdsDuration: 3-month contract/ Right to hireContract hourly pay rate up to $80/hrDirect Hire Salary after contract: $150K a yearBecause this position has the option to go from contract to full-time, we can only accept candidates with the work authorization of a US Citizen or Green Card.

Job Description:Our Senior Engineer is a key member of the engineering staff working on Web solutions ensuring that we provide a frictionless experience to our customers and maintain the highest standards of protection and availability.Our team thrives and succeeds in delivering high-quality technology products and services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift quickly.The ideal candidate has broad and deep technical knowledge, typically ranging from front-end UIs through back-end systems and all points in between, and a proven background in JavaScript, ReactJS, Java, Microservices, Containers (Kubernetes), and designing, implementing, and maintaining front-end UIs.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Engineer, you will:Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systemsBuild product definition and leverage your technical skills to drive toward the right solutionEngage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycleLead in design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organizationDefine, create, and support reusable application components/patterns from a business and technology perspectiveUtilize programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, Python, and Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of Azure tools and services across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication) to perform advanced-level Java application design under minimal directionUtilizes developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication) to perform advanced-level Mobile/Web/UI design, implementation, and maintenance activities under minimal directionMentor other engineersConsistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams
Required Qualifications:Strong UI/UX and prototype design knowledge and experienceExperience with Content Management, including implementation solution design and processing rule setFluency with HTML5, React, Redux, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, JSON, RESTful Web Services, NodeJS, and Event-Driven ArchitecturesStrong Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) platform knowledgeFamiliar with Project Management and work item management tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRAExemplary ability to design, perform experiments, and influence engineering direction and product roadmapExperience partnering with engineering teams and transferring research to productionExperience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as codeIn-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithmsExperience solving analytical problems with quantitative approachesAbility to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environmentKnowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication)Fluency and Specialization with modern languages such as Java, Python including object-oriented designExperience with Micro-services oriented architecture and extensible REST APIsExperience with AI/Client and data-driven integration with backendExperience building the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systemsFluency in DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture, and Azure DevOps Operational FrameworkExperience with application monitoring tools and performance assessmentsExperience in security protocols and products: Understanding of Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, OAuth
Required Experience :4+ years of professional software development experience within Web frameworks/Java3+ years of experience with architecture and design3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service2+ years of experience in open-source frameworks
Required Education :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
