Experienced Civil Designer (Grading & Utility) - Data Center

We design large hyperscale data center campuses and colocation data centers throughout the U.S., giving you the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most complex engineering-driven projects. Our clients value our relationship-based approach, allowing us to contribute to society’s technological and connected community through the design of critical infrastructure.As an Experienced Civil Designer (Grading & Utility), you will work in a collaborative team environment on multi-disciplinary complex projects. You will work closely with licensed engineers on plans and calculations, utilizing your expertise in Civil 3D and CAD software. In addition to sheet production work, you will also independently design utilities and surfaces with the oversight of an Engineer. Advanced skills in Civil 3D and CAD software are required to create accurate and efficient design solutions, developing detailed drawings and models to communicate design intent effectively. You will frequently design utilizing Pipe Networks, Pressure Pipe Networks, and Surfaces containing Corridors and Feature Lines. The scale of projects for this team starts at roughly 20 acres and often exceeds 200 acres for a single campus.You may travel to job sites for observation and to perform field work.Olsson currently has several opportunities for a Senior Civil Designer to support our Data Center Site Design group.
