Join our team and help us keep communities connected.Your OpportunityStantec is seeking a full-time, talented, team-focused CAD Designer to join our transportation group. The position is primarily focused on transportation infrastructure projects and has a variety of designer, drafting and modeling opportunities.Your Key ResponsibilitiesProduce civil drawings and 3 dimensional models in Bentley InRoads/OpenRoads and Autodesk AutoCAD Civil3DOrganizing and maintaining a digital file database for each project using Bentley ProjectWise softwareUses knowledge of tools and drafting to complete assigned tasks including 2D and 3D model development, completing design changes, general arrangement drawing production, redlining, plotting, and drafting using CAD platformsFacilitating and ensuring the quality of the drawings and graphic work produced for the teamCommunicating with other team members during the 3D model and plan productionUnderstanding ProjectWise file structures and modifications to files for exchanges with other team membersCreation of roadway alignments, profiles, templates and corridorsCAD surface and digital terrain modelingEnsure CAD standards and styles, quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed during drawing planning and productionWork to meet project schedulesQualificationsYour Capabilities and CredentialsExperience with civil infrastructure projects - roadway, utility, and rail projects highly desirableProficiency in Bentley InRoads/Open RoadsStrong attention to detail and presentationExcellent interpersonal skills, with a “team player” approach to design and problem solvingAbility to work within a team, sharing workloads to meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSkilled in the use of Microsoft Office productsEducation and ExperienceAssociates or Technical Degree5 years of CAD experienceThis position has flexible working arrangements for the right candidate that may include the option of remote, hybrid or in office options. Join us and redefine your personal best.Salary Range(s):$32.40 Per Hour - $46.97 Per Hour Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in WAThe final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
