Job Title: Senior Instrumentation & Controls Designer - RefiningLocation: Denver, CO (Temp-to-Perm)OverviewThe Senior Instrumentation & Controls Designer will be responsible for ensuring that all design and engineering work meets quality, cost, and schedule requirements. This is an onsite role located in a refinery/plant environment near Denver, CO.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver instrumentation and control system documentation.Ensure design work adheres to quality, safety, and industry standards.Interpret client specifications and collaborate with other disciplines and clients.Lead instrumentation & controls engineering efforts on specific projects, as needed.Support and mentor junior team members.Work within the client's Quality Assurance system.Address issues, develop solutions, and seek assistance when required.Stay updated on the latest instrumentation & controls technologies and innovations.Provide support during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.Technical Skills and ExperienceDeliverables:Design documents including P&IDs, Loop Drawings, Wiring Drawings, and more.Instrumentation specifications, I/O lists, and control narratives.Instrumentation Knowledge:Flow, level, and temperature measurement technologies.Process analysers and sampling systems (a plus).Systems and Software:PLCs (Modicon, GE, Rockwell), SISs (Triconex), DCS (Honeywell, Foxboro, ABB).SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI), CAD software, MS Office Suite.Communication networks (a plus).Experience:10+ years in instrumentation & control design and engineering.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.QualificationsRequired:2 or 3-year technical diploma.Training in SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) software, including the wiring module.#J-18808-Ljbffr
