The Student Project Coordinator for the Selah Yearbook works directly with the team of student writers and student designers to create the annual yearbook. The student project coordinator will assist on ensuring the schedule of yearbook stays on track, managing the proofs and following along the page ladder to assign out writing and designing tasks as needed. There will be project tracking and data entry related to various projects needed as well. This position requires strong communication skills, flexibility and willingness to learn. A background in project management, writing and/or designing is helpful but not required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assists in managing the yearbook as it's created while working closely with the team of writers and designers to keep it on track.Able to manage many tasks at once while staying organized and hitting deadlines.Requires forward-thinking, creative problem-solving, and strong attention to detailFrequent data entry is required - accepting projects, assigning out tasks, updating project details, and moreAssists in other marketing department efforts as needed.Additional information may be found here

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALSMinimum Requirements:

Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Computer competency in Microsoft Office suite.Must be able to understand and follow directions and work under limited supervision.Must be able to work well with clients and co-workers and present a positive attitude while being courteous, detail-oriented, self-motivated, diligent, trustworthy, possessing strong organizational skills, and well-developed communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of the video production process and photography process
