The Sr. Creative Director position is

responsible for leading and contributing to the creative development of a variety of projects for the company to meet the Client’s expectations and the Company’s quality guidelines. This position includes managing the original creation of new creative material for the company’s projects, participating and contributing in brainstorming & charrettes, contributing to already developed concepts by others and acting as creative lead on all projects. This position may include the participation and preparation of other non-project specific assignments, such as speech and editorial writing and preparation, marketing materials copywriting, RFQ/RFP positioning statements, white papers and other writing as deemed necessary by the company. Participation will be required in presentations, meetings, production meetings, field trips, research and other projects as necessary. The Senior Creative Director will act as a representative of the Company to clients, professional organizations, and the media. This position

reports to

the Head of Content. On specific projects as assigned, this position will collaborate with a Project Team Leader.

Essential Responsibilities:

Develop, write and lead concepts involving major IPs in a complex stakeholders environment Manage team members as requiredCoaching and mentoring up Creative Directors and other team members as necessaryProvide quality control over concepts and projectsParticipate in creative and production meetings as necessaryResearch industry, trends, and client/project information as necessaryOversee development of summaries, treatments, outlines, scripts, etc, with a focus on managing project delivery to meet client demands and expectationsWork with and inspire artists, technical directors, and entire project team to shepherd project development and meet deliverable goalsMaintain an open creative process to accommodate multiple projects, changing directions, and realignment of resourcesCollaborate with project teams in order to meet client expectationsLead creative sessions for project kick-offs and creative work sessions as required Manage multiple projects from concept through completionDevelop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and that advance our brand strategyMaintain communication with producers and Head of Content and incorporate feedback into developmentProvide an expertise in applying the appropriate brand voice for our various clients and ensuring brand compliance as necessaryOptimize workflow schedules in order to meet project timelines and resource allocation demandsAdditional expectations:Travel representing the company to clients and industry (solo and/or leading a team)Representing the company at conferences, trade shows, for media, etc.Lead project teams to ensure their creative vision is represented properly anywhere from 3-100 team members internally and externallyStrategic Thinking/Vision – Able to see and communicate the big picture in an inspiring way.Communication – Communicates openly. Demonstrates passion for the role and his/her/their contribution to the company and customer success.Efficiency – Able to produce significant high-level, client value-added output, with minimal wasted effortQualifications:15 plus years of demonstrable experience in creative ideation & leadership in the industry, including significant experience with high-level stakeholders on major projects.10 plus years of significant demonstrable major client facing and handling experiences.Significant experience exhibiting creative leadership in service to, and managing the portfolios for, major entertainment industry clients (including project development similar to Placemaking Vertical)Demonstrated desire and ability to provide strong coaching, mentorship, and advocacy to/for all levels and all members of a creative team (experience a plus)Master’s degree in a related fieldWorking Conditions:

Must be able to work in front of a computer for extended periods of timeMust be able to travel nationally and internationallyMust be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work within or visit areas where required.
