Position Overview:

As the Director, Marketing Analytics, you will play a critical role in shaping data-driven strategies to optimize marketing performance and enhance product offerings. The ideal candidate will have at least 7+ years of experience in eCommerce and/or SaaS-based subscription services.

Think of the eCommerce business at MOOD as a startup within a larger organization. You will need to think big, build a strategy then roll up your sleeves and get into the details to make it happen.

Responsibilities:

Ecommerce Analytics Strategy:

Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy and roadmap to drive business insights, with a dual focus on marketing analytics and product analytics.

Data Integration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources and formats, such as Magento, Google AdWords, Wordpress, and other 3P services, into a unified analytics and reporting platform.

Tool Management:

Oversee the utilization of analytics and reporting tools, including Looker and Tableau, to effectively develop detailed dashboards and company-wide KPI reporting.

SQL, API/JSON, and Python Proficiency:

Leverage your deep knowledge of SQL, API/JSON and Python to extract, unify, transform, and analyze data, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.

Marketing Analytics:

Analyze marketing performance metrics, including customer acquisition, conversion rates, and ROI. Provide insights to optimize marketing strategies and assist in forecasting and projecting growth. Share key insights and support Attribution Modeling for cross-channel campaigns.

Product Analytics:

Dive into product data to understand customer behavior, preferences, and identify opportunities for product improvements and enhancements. Assist in identifying opportunities in the customer lifecycle and whitespaces to improve customer experience and engagement.

Dashboard Development:

Design and maintain dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators for marketing and product teams.

Qualifications :

7+ years of experience in a programmatic analytical role with previous experience in ecommerce, subscription SaaS or a web-based companyStrong SQL/API and data visualization experience (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI)Experience with statistical packages like Python, R, etc … is a plus, but not required.Experience pulling data from and engaging with Salesforce.Bachelor Degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven experience in marketing analytics and product analytics.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Previous management and leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and grow a team.
