Your Role

The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for working with the Executive Communications Team and Senior Leadership including the Co-CEOs (and Global Co-Chairs) to design presentations, banner graphics, organization charts, process diagrams and other digital and print collateral that help drive strategic messages throughout the firm.

A successful candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where the key to success is heavy communication, rapid iterative editing, and strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate will quickly acclimate to the firms' culture, adapt to and be familiar with the various leaders (people), resources (tools), and other knowledge networks to accomplish a wide variety of projects and tasks. The ability to juggle multiple short- and long-term deadlines and prioritize initiatives is critical in this role. This position will be in Washington D.C. or Los Angeles.

What You Will Do

Work closely and collaboratively with the Director of Executive Communications and partner with Los Angeles based Graphic Designer to conceptualize and design digital and print collateral in support of key strategic communications working with our senior-most firm leadership including the Co-CEOs (Global CoChairs)Collaborate with the Executive Communications Team and Co-CEOs (Global CoChairs) to produce bi-annual all-firm keynotes, including design and development of the format, messages, and presentationsWork with the Executive Communications team on the development of presentations for external speaking engagements, and graphics for external editorial and social media piecesThink creatively about the Gensler brand, identify opportunities, strategies, creative partners, and trendsPresent creative and projects to partners to set direction and buy-inDesign at all scales (i.e. social graphics to large format "ultra-wide" keynotes)Champion company brand standards and reputationPartner with other designers across the firm to develop innovative and effective designs that drive the Gensler brand forwardCreate charts, graphs, data visualizations and infographicsProvide ad hoc graphics support for internal presentations and special projects as assigned.Maintain a knowledge of, and stay up to date on, industry best practices, introducing innovative ideas, new approaches and tools to the team for considerationYour Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.At least 5-8 years of relevant agency or in-house Graphic Design experiencePortfolio of work demonstrating creative solutions across a broad range of mediumsYour design skills are well grounded, and you can guide, evaluate, and if necessary, redirect creative developmentExperience working with all levels of an organizationAbility to start, pick-up or hand-off an in-progress project as neededSolid project management skills: ability to coordinate, prioritize, and handle multiple projects simultaneously and often independentlyStrong communication skills to manage internal and external resources and work collaboratively with colleagues across disciplinesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, DreamweaverProficient with video editing software including Adobe PremiereExperience with motion graphic design and development software (e.g. After Effects)Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email design and development (Adobe Dreamweaver)Experience leveraging genAI platforms for image generation like Adobe Firefly, DALL• E 3, Midjourney, Stable DiffusionFamiliarity with accessibility standards

**If this position is located in Los Angeles, the compensation range is estimated between, $90k-100k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
