Job Overview

The Program Manager of Marketing & Sponsorships will manage day-to-day activities for campus sponsorship business for the office and serve as the primary contact for sponsorship requests for engagement with UC's brand and third-party organizations. The functions of this role are divided up amongst project management (45%), marketing & communications (45%), and administrative duties (10%).

Essential Functions

Manage the licensing website and develop a licensing newsletter to keep relevant communication available promoting the university's brand with internal and external constituents.Work with internal constituents to promote awareness of sponsorship policy and serve as a resource for assistance with sponsorship engagements. This person is responsible for developing relationships with internal staff to respond to their needs and help develop engagement opportunities with outside organizations while staying consistent with university policies.Assist in developing agreements covering sponsorship/brand engagement activities, preserving all executed agreements in the contract management database (PACE), produce invoices for related fees, and ensure payments are processed with distributions to relevant internal stakeholders.Assist Associate VP with enforcement efforts to protect the university's rights and valuations for association with UC's brand (i.e. market research, tracking infringements, industry benchmarks, game day activities).Manage execution of marketing initiatives to promote the visibility of UC's brand and licensed merchandise, and coordinate programming of content for social media platforms with internal and external partners to maximize visibility and engagement with UC's constituents.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency with university policies and brand guidelines, and support engagement with strategic brand partners for various brand engagement activities.Track engagement rates for marketing or brand activations and produce reports demonstrating performance.Distribute various reports covering the accomplishments including quarterly reports for licensing and sponsorship activities, and monthly dashboard reports to assist key stakeholders in identifying strategic partnerships opportunities and demonstrate fulfillment of current sponsorship activitiesProduce reports tracking brand engagement activities including dashboard reports.Work with Associate VP to engage with local businesses to promote opportunities to engage with UC's community to increase brand visibility and generate incremental revenue.Assist managing work for student interns including setting schedules and distribution of work to maximize their experience and support the administrative needs of the office.Assist Associate VP with administrative support and various other duties as assigned (i.e. contract documentation, completion of university forms, budget/expense documentation, document retention).Required Education

Bachelor's Degree.Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.Required Experience
