The Marketing Manager will manage marketing efforts, develop and maintain product marketing materials and drive lead generation for the sales team. The ideal candidate is a self starter, detail-oriented and experienced marketer who can promote our brand, improve lead gen and develop partnerships. We have built the best technology for EV charging in apartment buildings. This market is beginning to explode with the growth of electrical vehicles. EV charging capabilities are going from an amenity to a necessity at multi-family properties.

Our mission is to bridge the EV divide and bring equitable charging infrastructure to multi-family housing. With convenient charging and lower energy prices, everyone can have access to cleaner and lower cost vehicles.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and maintain product marketing materials such as website, datasheets, whitepapers, case studies, and presentations to support sales and marketing initiatives. Includes creating blogs and social posts. Recommend and execute on the creation of new, more impactful materials.Create and own email marketing campaigns to customers and partners. Determine how to make campaigns more effective and generate more leads. Be familiar with A/B testing. Includes building and maintaining customized contact databases.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats and contribute to viable solutions.Identify potential new markets and create a plan to enter those markets.Oversee channel marketing and grow our partnership base 10X. This includes outreach campaigns, promotional and product materials and account management at a basic level.Coordinate trade show and events logistics. Leads selected local events.Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.Partner with product development and buying teams to estimate product demand.Collaborate with senior management to brainstorm fresh advertising ideas.Ability to travel within the state of California 10% - 20%.Performs other duties as assigned.DIRECTLY SUPERVISES

This role is not supervisory.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field5+ years previous experience in marketing, or a related fieldCreative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate innovative ideas and strategies to achieve marketing objectives.Demonstrated track record of self-motivation and willingness to independently take on ownership roles in projects and manage multiple work streams simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and how to leverage them to improve efficiencyProficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office programs, Squarespace (or equivalent), email marketing tools (Mailchimp or equivalent tools), and graphics tools (Canva, Figma), social media posting/tracking toolsFamiliarity and experience using a variety of social media platforms, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.Experience in design, translating marketing messages to visualsExperience/familiarity with channel marketingStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling marketing messages and engage audiences across multiple channels.Ability to work as a team and to effectively interact with team members and stakeholdersPreferred:
