Review data related to new customer acquisition, formulate strategies and complete successful executionProactively manage sales and marketing operating expenses relative to budget, forecast and cash flowExperience in developing holistic marketing plans to support all segments and channelsOversee revenue and yield strategies to include group and transient rooms, group food and beverage, meeting room rental, banquet/local catering, outlet, golf, and other revenue streams.Formulating and implementing strategies that include market mix, pricing, status, direct sales, marketing, and acquisition status and results.Maximizing profitability for the resort and outstanding guest service, market performance and potential performance.Support corporate and resort goals and contribute to enhancement of customer value.Monitor achievement of objectives for the sales team and take appropriate action to correct shortfalls versus the annual marketing plan.Ensure training programs are conducted regularly and company standards of performance are met. Give guidance and counsel staff toward improvement.Ability to deal effectively with all departments, regular communication with General Manager, Directors, Sales Managers and owners.Supervise the achievement of each Sales Manager closely, reference the action steps and goals outlined in the marketing plan, review, manage and update monthly.Set up weekly call quotas and booking quotas.Supervise the bookings and analyze their makeup, timeliness of the business and discuss with the salesperson.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing or related field preferredSix (6) years hotel sales experience of which at least two (2) years has been at the Director of Sales and Marketing level or above in a hotel setting is highly preferredDowntown/market experience preferredDynamic leadership capabilitiesAbility to read and speak English
