The Authorization Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all necessary authorizations are obtained for medical procedures and services. This role involves interacting with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to secure the required permissions for treatments. The Authorization Specialist plays a crucial role in the call center by managing the pre-certification process and ensuring that services are covered by insurance plans, thereby facilitating smooth operations and patient care.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

Qualifications:
Must be able to type 30- 40 WPM
Medical Terminology
Experience within a medical facility, Doctors office, CNA, Medical Assistant
2 to 3 years of call center or Medical experience
High school Degree or GED
Must live in South Texas from McAllen, Tx to Brownsville, Tx
