Mechanical Designer

Description:Create and refine detailed 3D part and assembly models using SolidWorks.Create and maintain a library of standard components and assembly models.Work closely with Mechanical Engineers, Project Engineers, and Design Engineers to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project scope.Provide technical assistance to manufacturing during production, ensuring design specifications are met.Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues and implementing corrective and preventative actions.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing and implementing innovative design solutions.Assist in the development and testing of prototypes to validate design performance and functionality.Requirements:Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design, Drafting, or a related field, or 5+ years of design experience in the industrial equipment industry.1-2 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo/ProE)Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.) %{{advertiserId}}% %%{{category}}%%
