We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Community Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of one of our manufactured home communities. This role requires a balanced blend of management expertise and exceptional customer service skills. As the Community Manager, you will oversee property management operations and play a key role in generating revenue through the sales and leasing of our homes, which will also provide additional income opportunities for you.We offer free onsite housing, along with significant autonomy in managing your community. Your responsibilities will encompass all operational aspects and ensure the continued profitability of the community. You will serve as the primary point of contact for residents, handling a wide range of duties including capital improvements, administrative activities, marketing, supporting leasing and home sales of new and pre-owned homes, property maintenance, budgeting, human resource management, and most importantly, guest and resident relations. Ensuring a positive atmosphere and responsive service for the members of your resort community will not only mean satisfied guests and long-term residents, but also better word-of-mouth referrals!If you have a passion for property management and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, we invite you to join our team.Supervisory Responsibilities:Manage the resources and assets of the property, including team members, buildings, and other assets.Primary Duties & Responsibilities :Ensure residents receive the highest levels of service; handle and resolve resident/customer service issues in a timely and professional manner.Coordinating team member selection, training, scheduling, and development of community team members and ensure all team members comply with appropriate policies and operational procedures.Monitoring operating budgets and preparing monthly explanations of P&L variancesManage the rent collection process, including depositing income from home sites and filing to collect delinquent debts.Ensure the overall community is well maintained and groomed to Cove's curb appeal standards.Assist with developing market strategies and maintaining effective advertising to attract prospective residents to the community.Enforce community rules and standards.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local agencies that regulate fair housing laws and resort operations.Plan and coordinate resident relation events and activities. Managing a relationship with the HOA (Homeowners Association).Monitor and manage monthly operating budgets and prepare monthly reports on P & L variances.Oversee capital expenditure improvements within the Community.Other duties and projects as assigned.Education & Experience:As a Community Manager, you must have a strong business mindset with the ability to place the highest priority on customer service. Strong organizational, time management and leadership skills are a vital part of your role.High school diploma or GED; bachelors degree in real estate, Hospitality, or Business, Preferred .Minimum of 5 years property management experience including 2 years of supervisory experience.Prior sales and leasing experience.General knowledge of repair and maintenance duties.Strong organizational skills.Demonstrated leadership abilities.Solid negotiation skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local laws about fair housing and employment law.Intermediate computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office suite applications; experience using reservation software preferred.Flexibility to respond to community needs during non-business hours.Living Our Core Values:Our Core Values are a way of life, not just empty promises.
