We’ve kicked off the search for a Senior Brand Manager who will lead the development of the brand positioning. You will lead the life cycle brand vision including product research and ideation, go-to-market launch campaigns, continued vertical growth and development, and ongoing consumer research and analysis.

You will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the brand's image and reputation. Here's a general job description for the role of Brand Communications Manager at SMITHE STUDIOS:

1. Develop and execute brand communication strategies: Create and implement comprehensive communication plans to effectively convey the brand's messages and objectives. This includes managing public relations, media relations, advertising, and social media campaigns.

2. Brand storytelling: Develop compelling brand narratives that align with the brand's values, vision, and target audience. Craft engaging content across various channels to evoke emotions and connect with consumers.

3. Media relations: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and other media professionals. Act as the brand's spokesperson and handle media inquiries, press releases, and interviews.

4. Social media management: Oversee the brand's social media presence and develop strategies for content creation, community engagement, and brand advocacy. Monitor social media platforms, analyze performance metrics, and adapt strategies accordingly.

5. Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels. Provide guidance and support in developing marketing campaigns and product launches.

6. Crisis management: Develop crisis communication plans and procedures to effectively handle any negative publicity or issues that may arise. Respond promptly and professionally to mitigate the impact on the brand's reputation.

7. Brand partnerships and collaborations: Identify potential brand partnerships and collaborations to enhance the brand's visibility and reach. Negotiate and manage relationships with external stakeholders to maximize brand exposure.

8. Market research and analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and recommend strategic actions.

9. Team management: Lead and supervise a team of communication professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support in their day-to-day activities.

The Brand Communications Manager plays a vital role in shaping and promoting the brand's image, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and driving effective communication strategies to achieve business objectives.

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree 7+ years’ experience in brand management, global marketing, or consulting for a reputable CPG brand Proven track record of building intelligent, data-driven, profit-generating strategies. Proven track record of configuring, concept creation, and altering consumer product portfolios. Experience working with retail (fashion, footwear, apparel) and eCommerce partners. Expert knowledge of communicating features, benefits, and values to consumers Team player with experience working with and leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
