UX Researcher

to join one of our global technology clients. The

UX Researcher

will be a member of the product innovation team within the Marketing group, and will analyze audiovisual innovation opportunities, conduct research with target audiences, and enhance the team's innovation strategy and go-to-market efforts.

Pay : $65-$70/hr depending on experienceLocation : Hybrid in SF Bay Area or Remote US (must work PST hours and be located in US)Hours : 40 hours per weekDuration : 6 months with high possibility of extension

UX Researcher Responsibilities:Shape new product innovation development from end to end, including upfront Discovery, product Development/Design, and go-to-market Commercialization.Validate new product innovation ideas through primary research, 3rd party research studies, industry trends, and innovation best practices.Support the senior research manager in designing, fielding, analyzing, and reporting findings from innovation-related primary research projects (both qualitative and quantitative).Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across technology, product innovation, and design teams to understand key research and analysis needs.Promote a “user-first” perspective on innovation within the organization, encouraging stakeholders to deeply understand the circumstances and needs of end users.Stay abreast of relevant audiovisual trends in innovation, technology, consumer behavior, and industry competitors.Bring fresh thinking and a strong point of view to the team’s innovation efforts.UX Researcher Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Market Research, Business, Design, Statistics, Social Sciences, or another applicable field.Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in product innovation for a consultancy, agency, or an in-house innovation team, including deep experience with upfront Discovery and Development.Several years of experience assisting with or leading innovation-related consumer research (both quantitative and qualitative), including hands-on experience with research design, fielding, analysis, and reporting.Strategic thinking about innovation opportunities and suggesting recommendations based on primary research, 3rd party insights, and other market factors.High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (research report writing and chart/tables creation).High attention to detail, organized, and passionate about innovation.Strong personal interest in technology and audiovisual entertainment.Pluses: Experience conducting innovation-related UX research, innovation concept design skills, and experience conducting primary research with B2B audiences.
