The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing, fast-paced marketing team within Balfour Beatty’s California Division.As a Marketing Coordinator, you will work closely with operations, leadership, and business development teams on client prequalification packages, proposals and interview strategies, assisting in the pursuit of new business/clients. You will also be supporting the Communications efforts including social media, project award submissions, brochures, newsletters, and website(s) development/update.Essential Functions:

Pre-Qualifications, Proposals & Interviews:Lead client prequalification packages from start to finishLead proposal process from start to finish (RFQs/RFPs)Work with marketing, operations, and business development teams to research, plan, prepare, write, design, and produce all proposal and presentation materials for new business/clientsLead the development of interview presentation materials and coach teamsProvide storyboarding and message development for strategic pursuitsMaintain and enforce company brand standards and quality control proceduresCommunications & Social Media:Research, write, and obtain required reviews/approvals for social media posts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube), internal/external newsletter articles, website updates, and award submissions.Write communications copy for review and editing by othersAssist in developing advertisements, sponsorships, and press releasesCommunicate and coordinate tasks/approvals with both local and national communications teamsData Management:Create, track and maintain marketing information: employee resumes, client testimonials, project data, photography, and all Unanet/internal data, as neededCommunicate and collaborate with internal marketing staff in other divisions/offices in addition to corporate marketingAssist with gathering market researchSupport and represent company at industry events, as neededParticipate in industry associations (SMPS), Adobe Max (training), conferences, and trainings, as applicableAbout US:Balfour Beatty is an industry-leading provider in the US of general contracting and construction management services for public and private sector clients across the nation.
