The Senior Product Manager (SPM) / Associate Director (AD), HCP Marketing (NASH) will be a vital member of the US Marketing team focusing on healthcare professionals (HCPs). On March 14, 2024, Madrigal Pharmaceuticals received approval for RezdiffraTM (resmetirom) – the first and only FDA-approved treatment for noncirrhotic NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis. This is truly a unique opportunity to help shape a nascent and rapidly evolving NASH (nonalcoholic steatohepatitis) marketplace filled with high unmet need.

In partnership with HCP Marketing Leadership, this individual will help champion the development and execution of best-in-industry HCP marketing efforts to support the US commercial launch and continued growth of resmetirom. Specifically, this individual will be responsible and accountable for workstreams related to, but not limited to: (1) media and non-personal promotion strategy & execution, (2) promotional material development, and (3) other business critical marketing initiatives.

This team member will be required and empowered to help shape strategy, build effective tactical and project plans, manage budgets and timelines effectively, and deliver high-impact fit-for-purpose solutions that are supported by leadership and cross-functional partners. This position is designed for a marketer who can flex and focus on several facets of HCP marketing and promotion over time based on business needs and/or the capabilities and development needs of the team.

Position Responsibilities:

Support the development of promotional tactics to enable an integrated, multichannel branded campaign directed towards HCPs to drive adoption and utilization of resmetirom.Lead all media and non-personal promotion for Rezdiffra branded and unbranded efforts including strategy, planning, material development, tactical execution, metrics/KPIs, and driving innovation (programmatic, print, SEO/SEM, endemic display, emails, social, etc.).Support other marketing and business tactics and execution aligned to critical business initiatives such as (but not limited to) conventions/congresses, disease education efforts, and sponsorships.Develop, execute, and measure HCP marketing strategies and tactical mix aligned to brand strategy, positioning, targeting, and messaging while meeting all FDA regulations and standards.Help shape HCP strategy and provide tactical recommendations/solutions to deliver on strategy.Effectively collaborate to ensure alignment and success with cross-functional partners including PRC/MLR, market research, analytics, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, compliance, field, etc.Lead agency partners, manage budget, and evaluate tactical performance to ensure appropriate resource allocation and timely delivery within financial constraints.Support commercial field teams as needed.This is not a comprehensive listing of job functions. Motivated and agile self-starter with a business owner mindset.Solution-oriented marketer who can operate in a fast-paced environment and areas of ambiguity.Proven ability to drive execution and impact across several workstreams simultaneously.Excellent project management skills (prioritization, timelines, budget, communication, etc.).Attention to detail with ability to still see the big picture.Strong analytical skills and ability to triangulate information (connect the dots).Capability to translate insights into actionable strategies and tactics.Superb communication and cross-functional partnering skillsets.Driven to succeed and develop professionally.Travel is required – up to 25% of the time (including weekends as needed).Required to be in office 3 days per week (Conshohocken, PA or Waltham, MA).Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree, MBA or Masters preferred.5+ years of biopharmaceutical commercial experience (required); sales, marketing, strategy, etc.3+ years of HCP marketing experience (required).Robust experience in digital / non-personal promotion (required).Experience across several channels, stakeholders, disease states, and business models (required).At least 1 specialty launch in the past 5 years (required); subpart H experience is a plus.Experience in smaller company (or team) environment is a plus.Compensation: Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands.
