If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.National multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a talented Project Manager for Interiors to join their San Francisco office. The studio is seeking an individual experienced working on interior design projects and directing project teams.

This position requires outstanding communication skills as there will be significant contact with the client, tenants, contractors, consultants, city agencies and the in-house team. The candidate must have excellent programming and space planning skills and be familiar with the tenant planning process. This person must also have a good understanding of building accessibility codes, exiting and life/safety requirements in various building types.

The firm has 11 offices all around the world focusing on healthcare, arts and culture, community, corporate, education, and government projects. Recently, the firm won the prestigious American Architecture Award for Museums and Cultural Building, along with IIDA Healthcare Design Award.

Responsibilities

Work to create design solutions with enduring impact though original insight.

Work with Architectural and Interior Design team to develop the interior design solutions for projects ranging from workplace, higher education, and other community and commercial buildings.

Research materials and concepts to advise and support design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development.

Collaborate and communicates effectively and professionally with multidisciplinary team members.

Work within project schedules to prioritize tasks and coordinate the completion of documentation required from initial design phase through final project completion.

Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

Four year degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited program

8+ years of professional experience

Exceptional interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients

Ability to oversee and be responsible for project delivery

Working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp and other industry accepted software as well as expertise with Project Manager software and Microsoft Office products
