The Audio Engineer works under the direction of Technical Director and the general supervision of the Director of MultiMedia Communications.

The Audio Engineer is responsible for operating and maintaining all audio equipment used for the amplification and enhancement of all worship services and activities at Trinity United Church of Christ.Maintains and operates all audio equipment and duplicators.Produces broadcasts and Podcast for distribution and radio stations.Produces voiceovers and other audio elements for television and in-house projects.Trains ministry partners in the use of all audio equipment and procedures and monitors the use of all equipment.Produces all audio reproduction material developed from worship services and activities held at TUCC.Department SupportAvailable to assist Technical Director or Director of MultiMedia Communications whenever necessary.Other DutiesPerform other duties as assigned.Requirements : This position requires a person with experience and training in the area of video technology. Prior courses in math and electronics are helpful. Additionally, a technical or college degree is helpful especially. Extensive experience and training in the area of audio technology and sound engineering is required.Work Schedule:
The Audio Engineer shall general work forty (40) hours each week in accordance with the schedule personally arranged, and mutually agreed to with the Production Technical Director.Confidentiality:
Confidentiality is a condition of employment. Discretion is a condition of employment. At all times, staff members are to respect the privacy of information about others. Violation of the Code of Confidentiality can result in immediate termination of employment.Working Conditions:
Technicians must have manual dexterity and an aptitude for working with electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems and equipment. This position works in a clean, well-lighted area and is generally not susceptible to job hazards; however, lifting, bending, and stooping may occur on an usual basis as it relates to the set up and break down of Television, Radio, and/or other Broadcast equipment.
