About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join our team for 5-6 months starting mid-October, although there’s some flexibility on the start date. In this role, you’ll report to the Associate Director of User Research and work alongside UXR, Product, Design, and Science teams. You will join a small but growing team of UX researchers who are passionate about designing products that improve health outcomes for patients. You will collaborate closely with design, product, engineering, and science to understand, imagine, develop, and validate digital therapeutics that address specific health conditions. You’ll play an integral part in the entire product development cycle, from research and ideation, through delivery and iteration. You’ll bring a strong mix of qualitative and quantitative research methods, design-thinking methodology and a rigorous human-centered design perspective to the team.

This position is based out of Click’s headquarters located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities. We have a hybrid working model that consists of at least 3 days in office each week.

Responsibilities:

Lead research initiatives across a core product, using a combination of exploratory and evaluative research methods to serve as the voice of the patient in helping make product design decisions.

Collaborate with researchers, clinical science partners and product designers to plan and/or execute several key longitudinal studies.

Rely on different research methods and tools to validate both low and hi-fidelity concepts and prototypes gathering feedback from patients.

Use qualitative and quantitative research to surface learnings around the patient journey, identify new opportunities to improve patient experiences and engagement, and validate product solutions.

Act as the patient advocate on cross-functional teams, ensuring that we create exceptional experiences that deliver on our promise to “place patients and their loved ones at the center of what we do.”

Generate and socialize actionable insights and recommendations to drive stakeholder decision making.

Required qualifications:

6-7 years + of experience conducting UX Research.

Significant work history orchestrating and conducting a wide range of generative and evaluative user research studies using quantitative and qualitative methodologies.

Experience creating artifacts such as personas, experience journeys, and data visualizations to tell compelling stories.

Experience leading or collaborating in end-to-end research projects, including creating research plans, running recruitment and scheduling, developing research guides and surveys, conducting interviews, and leading synthesis.

Excellent organization skills and ability to support more than 1 workstream simultaneously.

Experience managing or leading other researchers.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience conducting diary/longitudinal studies.

Experience working in healthcare.

Proficiency in research tools such as Dscout or UserTesting.com.

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Information Science, Anthropology, Sociology, or related technical field.

Compensation:

This is a freelance role that pays an hourly rate of $80-$110 (anticipated 40 hours/week). The final hourly rate will be dependent upon skills and experience.
