Dassault Systèmes is seeking a Software Engineer to be part of the Solidworks Graphics Application development team.
The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.What will your job be?You will work closely with Product Definition, User Experience, Quality Assurance and expert fellow team members to understand and define the scope of development and push the software limits of what is technically possible with today's graphics hardware, in terms of performance and visual accuracy/aesthetic. Enhance, maintain and develop new functionalities in the area of 3D real-time interactive rendering for our Solidworks mechanical design software.Qualifications:Masters degree in Computer Science or a relevant field0-3 years of experience in a graphics development positionPreferable background in CAD, gaming, or scientific visualizationAwareness and understanding of achieving goals and meeting milestonesAbility to work individually and as part of a teamProficiency in modern C++ programming, including STLDeep understanding of the OpenGL v4 API and GLSL shader languageKnowledge of Vulkan/DX12 (a plus)Knowledge of CAD (a plus)Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot software algorithms as part of a complex systemFamiliarity with Windows development environment (Visual Studio IDE/C++)Experience with GIT source controlDassault Systèmes offers an excellent salary with potential for bonus, commensurate with experience.
