Interested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below.Perform day-to-day operations and maintenance of station broadcast infrastructure and enterprise network.Essential Functions:Maintain Oahu transmitter and antenna system and perform preventative maintenance visits. Assist contractors in maintaining transmitter systems on Kauai, Maui, and Hawaii Island.Maintain and configure ATSC transport streams with understanding of PID/PSIP information.Coordinate installation, set-up and troubleshooting of station’s broadcast and network equipment.Operate master control automation and collaborate with remote partners to insure station playlists are broadcast properly.Assist with setup and hosting of livestreaming events.Use test equipment to diagnose and perform maintenance on all television broadcast equipment, including but not limited to video servers, video tape recorders, studio cameras, switchers, mixers and monitors.Operate television broadcast equipment including but not limited to video servers, digital recorders, studio cameras, switchers, mixers and monitors.Coordinate with Producer/Director during studio or remote productions; verify technical quality of all recordings, reporting any deviation to the Producer/Director; perform necessary electronic editing and duplication of media.Scout remote locations for engineering setup. Coordinate the assembly, disassembly of television broadcast equipment for remote productions.Additional Responsibilities:Maintain station network, including servers, printers, PC and Apple workstations.Install computer upgrades and updates and perform Help Desk functions as required.Perform other duties as assigned.Contact InformationContact: Karen Yamamoto, PBS Hawaii#J-18808-Ljbffr
