Have experience building tools, rigs, workflows, and pipeline optimizations that make the creative work of game development even more fun than it already is?Our Austin studio is looking for a Senior Technical Artist to join our Tech Art team. You will grow and develop in many different areas, learning from a highly skilled team while working on cutting-edge technology. We are open to candidates from all industries who have a passion for games. A list of qualifications is provided below, but please do not hesitate to apply if you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications.What You’ll Do:

Build and maintain technologies associated with art pipelines and workflowsCollaborate with Art and Engineering to drive research, identify new workflows, technologies for improved pipelines, and streamlined creation processesSolve technical issues related to rigs, animations, hair and cloth simulations, and performance captureEstablish and implement naming conventions within assets, tools, and workflowsCollaborate with other technical artists daily to find opportunities for improved workflows and toolsPartner with the engineering team to ensure build stability, and to ensure that memory and performance budgets are being maintainedMentor other artists as neededLearn from and grow with some of the top talent in the industryWho Will Be A Great Fit:

5+ years in the games, film, or animation industriesProficiency with Python/C#/C++Fluent in Maya with significant experience in animation, rigging, shaders along with MEL Script/Maya API experienceExperience with cloth and rigid/soft body physics setup for characters, including collision volumesExperience with Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop, Perforce, and ConfluenceExperience researching, piloting, and rolling out new techniquesInterest in gaming platform limitations and advantagesAbility to turn creative aspirations into achievable realitiesShotGrid experience preferred but not requiredLove for video games (not just ours!)This topic will close 3 months after the last reply.#J-18808-Ljbffr
