As part of the Media Platforms Center of Excellence, you will partner with the Verizon Value Organization and the rest of the Central Marketing Organization to build media plans that drive awareness, demand, engagement and ultimately loyal consumption of our products and services. You will shape the local media strategy and execution of key initiatives across brands within the portfolio in need of retail support in priority markets.Lead strategy and data informed media plan development (with media agency) across offline and online channels on a localized level.

Act as the local cross-team leader ensuring integration with other media team members and agency teams.

Partner directly with key stakeholders in Integrated Marketing, Creative teams, CMI, and Marketing Analytics.

Partner with agency and analytics team to report on completed local campaigns.

Identify, educate and provide strong POVs around innovation in the local media landscape.

Oversee the development and final formats/content of ongoing internal presentations.

Ensure effective budget management including reconciliation and invoice approval.

Establish and refine processes for executional excellence.

Ensure accuracy and socialization of competitive reporting and analysis.

Oversee ongoing media auditing process.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience in consumer marketing or media.

Even better if you have:Knowledge of wireless and retail categories.

Experience in local media strategy, planning, and execution.

Understanding of local market nuances.

Experience in managing media plan budgets.

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to understand business & marketing strategy.

Experience in local media optimization.

Ability to effectively collaborate with creative teams.

Effective project management and campaign execution skills.

Resilience in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to manage through ambiguity.
