Responsibilities

As part of SCA Health’s Marketing and Communications Team, the

Associate Director, Communications

will support the organization’s communications and messaging strategy with a specific focus on Internal Communications. This dynamic professional will play a key role in developing and executing communications strategies and campaigns to support priority Business Initiatives and key Internal Events.

Partner across Business Units to develop and implement strategic, omni-channel communications plans to effectively engage teammates.Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with the Marketing & Communications team, Human Resources and Operations partners, C-level Executives and other key leaders.Identify the most appropriate tactics that are aligned with the communications goals and strategies as well as the most effective channels to reach teammates.Collaborate with leaders and teammates on the planning and execution of town halls and webinars as needed; provide support with agendas, talking points, slides, logistical coordination, speaker prep, etc.Support efforts to better equip people leaders with the tools and resources they need to communicate effectively with their teams.Create and implement thoughtful and relevant improvement to processes.Evaluate the performance of communications efforts using quantitative and qualitative metrics; leverage those metrics to maximize the effectiveness of communications.Provide Talent Acquisition support and POV as needed to help engage and retain prospective talent.

Qualifications

Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.5+ years of internal communications experience.5+ years of people management experienceProven experience of developing thoughtful and measured communications that drive action.Excellent writing and editing skills.Experience managing company Intranet site is preferredAbility to build rapport and develop effective relationships with leaders and teammates across diverse, cross-functional teams.Ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics and then translate them clearly in layperson's terms.Strong interpersonal skills both in person and by the phone with high professionalism.Strong time management and planning skills; ability to manage multiple competing priorities and flex to changing demands.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)Experience in video and webinar communications platforms (Zoom, Kaltura, Teams, GoToWebinar, etc.)Proficient knowledge of graphic design (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc.) and video.
