Senior UX Designer with Research Skills

Remote, Contract, 40 hours a week during standard business hours

W2, NO C2C, must be based in USA

6 months, possibly longerOur global client, is a leader in their field and they are looking to add a Senior UX Designer WITH Research Skills, to join this lean team on a freelance basis for at least 6 months. This team is crucial to the company as it is there to define, research, design, and resolve internal inefficiencies as it relates to technology utilization, capabilities and processes. The senior role is best suited for someone who comes from an internal UX department providing internal support. (non customer/client facing or producing).

Must Haves :

Strong portfolio showcasing professional case studies from research to designAbility to solve a problemStrong use of FIGMAMust come from medium to large size company

Responsibilities

Perform researchPrototypes: Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes in FIGMADesign systems: Create and maintain design systems in FigmaDesign system documentation

RequirementsDegree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design, or equivalent experience6+ years of UX experience with an accompanying portfolio.Strong skills with Figma.Demonstrated experience with design thinking frameworks, as well as experience integrating both generative and evaluative UX research.Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and partners through excellent written and verbal communication skills.Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design, or equivalent experience
