Job Summary
We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join our team! As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be creating content across many different social media platforms, working on existing promotional campaigns, and maintaining a strong online presence. You will also be maintaining the comments section of all posts, ensuring every message published on social media is in tune with our company message, and keeping up to date with the latest social media trends. The ideal candidate is comfortable creating content for a social media platform, has strong organizational skills, and the ability to run a successful social media campaign.
Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy:
Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic to the restaurant chain’s website and locations.
Align social media strategies with overall marketing goals and objectives.
Content Creation:
Create high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including photos, videos, graphics, and text posts.
Plan and execute content calendars, ensuring a consistent posting schedule.
Platform Management:
Manage the restaurant chain’s social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) by posting regularly, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.
Ensure all social media content is consistent with the brand voice and visual identity.
Community Engagement:
Create a positive and active online community by engaging with followers, promptly responding to comments and messages, and participating in relevant discussions.
Identify and build relationships with influencers and brand advocates.
Campaign Execution:
Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions, including paid advertising, contests, and influencer collaborations.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of content and campaigns.
Prepare regular social media performance reports that provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
Trend Monitoring:
Stay on top of the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Implement new and innovative social media practices to keep the restaurant chain’s social media presence fresh and interesting.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team, restaurant managers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
9.Customer Feedback:
Collect and analyze customer feedback from social media to inform marketing strategies and improve customer experience.
Use social media information to identify customer preferences and trends.
Qualifications
Strong familiarity with all major social media platforms, including understanding social media trends
Familiarity with computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite, photo editing software, and video editing software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
