As we continue to expand our operations and drive forward our commitment to growth and sustainability, we are seeking a talented Corrugated Design Lead to join our team.Position Overview:The role would include oversight of the current design team, which interacts with all major facets of the organization, including sales, customer service and production. As the Corrugated Design Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our design team to create innovative and effective corrugated packaging solutions. You will collaborate closely with sales and clients to understand their packaging requirements, lead the design process from concept to completion, and ensure that our packaging solutions meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and sustainability. This role requires a creative mindset, strong leadership and attention to detail, as well as a passion for delivering exceptional results.Responsibilities:-

Lead a team of corrugated packaging designers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster creativity and professional development.-

Collaborate with clients to understand their packaging needs, objectives, and brand guidelines, and translate these requirements into innovative and effective corrugated packaging designs.-

Utilize industry-leading design software and technologies to create detailed and accurate packaging prototypes, samples, and specifications.-

Oversee the design process from concept development and prototyping to final production, ensuring that all packaging solutions meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and sustainability.-

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and customer service, to coordinate project timelines and resources to ensure seamless execution of design projects.-

Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in corrugated packaging design and sustainability, and integrate these insights into our design processes and solutions.Qualifications:-

Bachelor's degree in packaging design, industrial design, graphic design, or a related field.-

Minimum of 10 years of experience in corrugated packaging design, with a proven track record of leading design projects from concept to completion.-

Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, ArtiosCAD, and Esko, as well as strong technical skills in manufacturing.-

Possess experience and familiarity with the demands within the corrugated packaging manufacturing process, inclusive of printing and cutting.-

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.-

Strong attention to detail, with a passion for innovation, creativity, and delivering exceptional results.-

Experience and knowledge of designing / ordering cutting dies and print plates.-

Knowledge of packaging practices, materials, and certifications.-
