Dickies Arena is a 14,000 seat, spectacular multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The arena is owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by the not-for-profit operating entity, Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC). The state-of-the-art arena, opened in November 2019, hosts concerts, sporting events and family entertainment, and is the new home to Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances.

Job Description

The digital marketing specialist will be responsible for developing the digital strategy and presence for Dickies Arena and Trail Drive Management Corp. (TDMC). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is energetic, creative and analytical and has experience in digital, social and traditional marketing.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.Develop strategies for Dickies Arena's digital marketing program to achieve reach and engagement goals across social platforms and websites, including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Truth, YouTube, Rumble, Telegram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn and others.Create and maintain social media calendar including all hosted events plus special promotions, event offers, community events/, sponsorship activations, recruitment, etc.Plan advertising and promotional campaigns include digital, print, radio and outdoor to drive ticket sales and create awarenessGenerate engaging social media content with the goal of getting artists to repost and grow followers.Monitor site traffic and analytics across all digital platformsDevelop and implement paid digital advertising campaigns across a variety of channels to promote events at Dickies Arena as well as Will Rogers AuditoriumProvide reports of the effectiveness of all paid digital advertising campaignsAssist with creating strategies to increase the fan experience at Dickies ArenaDevelop new ways to generate excitement and increase ticket sales through digital channelsProactively research trends, best practices and emerging technologies to stay on the forefront of new digital media and establish Dickies Arena as a leader in social mediaDevelop digital and social media marketing plans and strategies for upcoming eventsCollaborate with social media teams of promoters and local media to create awareness and excitement for events.Manage content on the Dickies Arena website as well as SharepointCreate the HR flyer and HR newsletter with Brand Marketing Manager oversightHandles sensitive/confidential information appropriatelyAbility to worknights, weekends and select holidays, in addition to traditional business hoursOther duties and responsibilities as assignedPreferred Qualifications

An in-depth understanding of the digital and social media landscapeStrong computer skills, including Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, Photoshop, CRM and basic HTML and website managementExperience analyzing social and digital dataExperience in creating still graphics and videos for online useProficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong verbal and written skills in the English language requiredStrong organizational, interpersonal and project management skills requiredCreativity and a desire to constantly explore new ideas for content and campaignsProven record of creating promotions and platforms that result in revenue opportunitiesProblem-solving and multitasking skillsTeam player with a positive attitudeMeets or exceeds timelines in a fast-paced environmentPosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ability to work some nights and weekends a must.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising or other related fieldMinimum 2-4 years of full-time marketing, sports industry and/or digital agency
