This position is responsible for marketing, promoting and supporting Thrivent’s Membership products with a particular emphasis on connecting and aligning key features and benefits to make our members and Financial Representatives successful. Key product lines include: tax-exempt products and programs such as Thrivent Action Teams, membership benefits, and Thrivent Choice. This role will have an emphasis on growing the Spanish-Language Thrivent Action Team’s experience through further product development and enhancements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide specific product line subject matter expertise to key constituents and stakeholders.

Support development and execution of marketing/tax-exempt programs/initiatives that drive field productivity and membership growth.

Work with Field-facing colleagues to design, train on, and execute program promotion materials.

Perform in team environment to drive initiatives centered on product development --work with Financial Network, Field Marketing, Communications, Product Management and Development, Law and Compliance and Operations.

Leverage experience to execute strategic plans that align with key corporate strategies and goals; works effectively in cross-organizational teams.

Perform marketing communication tasks and initiatives that are clear and comprehensive. Serve as translator of complex products, features topics to Financial Representative, home office, and member audiences.

Utilize critical thinking skills to build out marketing initiatives in partnership with Integrated Planning, with an emphasis on strong tactical execution.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Required:

Bachelors Degree, especially in marketing, communications or business: liberal arts education focused on critical thinking also a plus (will consider commensurate working background under certain circumstances)

This position requires a minimum of a college degree plus 3 years of experience or a graduate business degree plus 1 year of experience in one or several marketing disciplines.

At least 2 years in the financial services industry, with demonstrated increases in responsibility.

Experience working with financial products and/or financial advisors in the overall sales process.

Experience in communicating complex product solutions to a field distribution system and through the field distribution system to the end client.

Applicants must demonstrate capabilities in the following areas: in-depth knowledge of /program management, strong written and oral communication, experience and desire to work with Field-facing resources and members to achieve corporate driven goals

Demonstrated knowledge of how all core insurance, accumulation, retirement, annuity and membership products can meet consumer needs.

Preferred:

Bilingual English-Spanish.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $74,275.00 - $100,489.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
