National, Employee-Owned expanding Design/Build firm has engineering opportunities in Chicago, IL, Houston, TX, and Atlanta, GA. We develop a variety of projects throughout the US - including RNG, CNG fueling, Natural Gas infrastructure, waste handling, recycling, resource recovery, environmental remediation, and food and beverage facilities - from concept through construction. If you have engineering experience, a working knowledge of construction and the ability to effectively manage multi-discipline design projects, this may be the right opportunity for you.

The immediate need is for an engineering project manager with experience in natural gas processing or other industrial processing experience including MEP and control systems.Position / Title: Design Manager location onsite Tinley Park, Illinois Summary Description: Responsible for the design team management and delivery of design documents for various project types as required by the project and the Client. Reports To: VP Engineering, Operations Manager, or Project Executive Direct Reports: Project specific Project Engineers, Superintendents, and administrative support

Required Experience and Competencies:10-15 years engineering experience with engineering design and engineering team management.BS required - Engineering (Preferred mechanical or electrical)Engineering license requiredConstruction and Design-Build experience preferredMicrosoft office suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook)Proven ability to lead teams and solve problems creativelyStrong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practicesExcellent analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills and extremely resourcefulProven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.Major Areas of Responsibility:

Familiarity with variety of projects including industrial , waste handling, recycling, resource recovery, environmental remediation, and food and beverage facilities - from concept through construction.Develop conceptual designs for new industrial facilities.Effectively manage multi-discipline designAbility to lead owner communication and client management.Coordinate and lead a design team with sub-consultants of various disciplinesRespond to contractor RFI's and submittalsDevelop and manage project schedulesAssist in developing project cost estimates and proposalsMaintain project documentationLead project design meetingsTravel to client or project sites - 25%
