Technical Project Manager Americas - Video Solutions
The Sportec Solutions Inc is seeking a Technical Project Manager Americas (Video Solutions) in Arlington (TX). This person will be expected to manage projects in the field of sports technology independently and act as an interface between costumers, external and internal stakeholders.
What to expect:
Technical Project Management for American customers of Sportec SolutionsTechnical management of all video related products and services (e.g. Video Review, Medical Sideline Review)External consultancy in case of technical questions about the Sportec Solutions video ecosystemInterface between external stakeholders and internal departmentsTaking responsibility for the successful performance of the VAR projectOperational support on Major League Soccer match daysThis is what you bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university2+ years' experience as a Technical Project ManagerExperience in the sports environment with a focus on video technology (sports streaming, streaming technologies, replay services, VAR)Comprehensive understanding of referee technologies as well as hosting, cloud and video systems for innovation and promotion of product developmentSoccer specific knowledge is an advantage (soccer rules, IFAB protocols)Basic knowledge of video/image processing and computer visionComprehensive understanding of referee technologies as well as hosting, cloud and video systems for innovation and promotion of product developmentExcellent proficiency in MS Office, and receptive to feedbackOutstanding written and spoken English skills; knowledge of other languages is advantageousStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environmentGeneral understanding of sports technology and the soccer industryWillingness to work evenings and weekends - depending on projectsWillingness to travel nationally and internationallyIn addition to job enthusiasm, we are looking forward to the following attributes:
