Job Description

The Proposal Writer will work closely with leadership, operations, and other aligned teammates within Government Medical Services (GMS) to expand our business management team health solutions pipeline and footprint within HHS, DHS, DoD, DoS and other targeted agencies. Develop and maintain relationships with influential primes/subs and medical and strategic partners to drive the program business. This includes developing and executing compelling and compliant proposals to win new business and support contract recompetes.

B. Key Responsibilities:Write, review, and edit proposals to ensure clarity, completeness, and compliance with RFP requirementsStrong experience in building a compliant matrixCollaborate with subject matter experts and technical staff to gather information, refine proposal content, and develop discriminators and winning strategiesEnsure all proposals are consistent with the company's branding and meet quality standardsStrong organization skills with experience and ability to consolidate all proposal files and content within one single location with a file structure and proposal management processCoordinate and manage proposal development processes, including proposal schedules, kick-off meetings, and review sessionsAbility to closely read all RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitation documents to identify key requirements and develop compliant responsesExcellent time management skillsManage multiple proposal projects (3-5 proposals simultaneously), ensuring all deadlines are metEnsure proposals comply with all federal, state, and local regulations and requirementsExperience is responding to data calls, white papers and preparing past performance citationsQualifications

Required Skills and Knowledge

5-7 years of experience in proposal writing and management, preferably for federal government contracts.Experience working on healthcare and medical direct care proposalsDemonstrated successful track record of supporting and winning medical services contracts for federal and state agenciesWoking knowledge of federal acquisition processes and regulationsRequired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field.Master's degree a plus2-3 years of experience using GOVWIN and or DACIS2-3 years of experience with SalesforceUnderstanding of Cobblestone a plusExperience using proposal software for compliance checksTravel Requirements

As required, but can expect up to 10% travelRemote work schedule

Compensation: Min $83,000/ Max 100,000

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
