Job Description

This position, as strategic lead, supports the development and execution of the marketing strategies and tactics relative to brand promotion at the Global, Areas, and Affiliate level.

Collaborates and engages with a cross functional team, which includes (but not limited to): market access, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, health economics, public affairs, medical and regulatory review, patient relations, business insights, OEC, and global learning.

Key Responsibilities Include:Generating marketing insights that inform strategic and tactical plansIdentify commercial opportunities that advance efforts towards the brand objectives and goalsCollaborate with Marketing Director(s) and business leaders to build, manage and execute strategic marketing plans to achieve business objectives and goalsCreating and driving multi-stakeholder initiatives within the overall brand strategy, as well as leading communication strategyLead strategy and tactical development activities like annual global integrated brand planning, annual global functional planning, and other priority special projects that create and drive brand strategy, within assigned budgetSupport affiliates in the understanding and execution of global brand strategyPartner with affiliates and area leads to incorporate feedback and cocreate, ensuring local relevance in the delivery of transformative strategies and innovative tacticsManaging budgets and maximizing resourcesContribute to AbbVies leadership position in DermatologyProject management & working with vendors as needed to support workshop and presentations to develop and communication strategies and tacticsPartner with cross-functional teams and build external partnershipsInfluence business leaders and effectively collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business resultsQualifications

Bachelors Degree requiredMasters Degree preferredProven marketing experience with increased proficiency in all marketing skillsPrevious cross franchise/cross channel marketing experience including development of strategic brand plans preferredDermatology experience preferredAdditional Information
