Are you a passionate PR professional looking for a new challenge? At F-Secure, we are seeking an exceptional PR Manager to help drive our expansion into the US. As PR Manager, you will play a critical role in establishing F-Secure's brand positioning and presence within the US, building both awareness and credibility with an executive B2B audience in the telecommunications, banking, insurance and finance industries.
Your efforts will reinforce our position as the partner of choice for organizations looking to offer our unrivalled consumer cyber security solutions to their customers. You will be part of a core team of five, reporting to our UK-based Head of Content & Communications and working alongside our UK-based Content Writer, Finland-based Threat Advisor and Finland-based Copywriting & Social Media Specialist.
This is an East Coast US-based remote working opportunity.
Key responsibilities:Execute core PR activities in line with our strategy, building both awareness and credibility with an executive B2B audience primarily in the US.Support with the creation and distribution of compelling narratives that highlight the value of our cyber security solutions to a B2B and B2C audience.Manage our communications calendar, leading key integrated PR campaigns as well as daily activity such as proactive pitching, reactive response, newsjacking, media relations, events PR, collaborations, content pitching, crisis communications, etc.Spearhead our reactive response commentary initiative 'F-Act', positioning F-Secure as a thought leader in the consumer cyber security space.Develop and work to OKRs aligned with our wider strategy, measuring impact and success in a logical, effective and demonstrable manner using Cision and other tools.Manage and collaborate with our external PR agencies in the US, UK and Germany to ensure consistent quality coverage, opportunities and messaging globally.Build out and diversify our spokesperson list, working closely with our internal experts to boost their profiles across key regions.Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as key media targets, journalists, influencers and analysts within the US.What are we looking for?
Proven track record with a minimum of 5 years in PR, with significant experience in managing international PR campaigns.Keen understanding of how effective PR drives brand positioning and thought leadership within a target audience.Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing or other relevant field.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.Results-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach.Excellent stakeholder management skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies.Demonstrated experience in crisis communication and issues management.You get bonus points for
