ABOUT THIS ROLEWe are seeking a highly experienced, multidisciplinary digital brand designer with strong web design skills and a proven track record in creating engaging design content for digital marketing channels. This individual should have a proven ability to work on integrated efforts and bring their ideas to life in new and inspiring ways. They should be a conceptual thinker who can see their vision through from concept to launch without any hand-holding.

The ideal candidate can take ownership of design projects, bringing a high level of craft to all projects and challenges through campaigns, web strategy efforts, and brand system-focused projects. The role requires a conceptual thinker, a strategic and proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills, and someone with experience developing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously, in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.

They will have a strong background in marketing web design, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) design, with a focus on creating websites that are thoughtful, human centered, approachable for developer communities and/or for technical audiences. They have a fluency with working on various design systems and designing for a CMS that requires flexibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop original breakthrough design thinking for a variety of marketing touch-points.Lead solution-driven initiatives to address UX/UI challenges, resulting in the development and design of innovative ideas for our web presence that effectively meet the needs of our target audiences.Develop user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, landing pages, and on-brand visual assets for the web.Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies and incorporate them into your work as appropriate.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, technical and UX researchers, creative, comms) as a solution-seeker to respond to the objectives of the web briefWork autonomously - strong time management (including proactive task prioritization and goal-setting) is a must.Work cross-functionally, balancing the needs of stakeholders and breaking down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas.Design conceptual brand expressions that communicate brand intention and value.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

7-10 years of relevant experience working in a digital company, agency, or studio concepting and crafting UX/UI solutions for web.A strong ability to work within brand systems.A strong understanding of web UX/UI trends and best practices.Working knowledge of Figma, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite(i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator).Basic understanding of html, css, js and jQuery as well as some familiarity using custom CMS.Familiarity with Content Management Systems.Demonstrated experience actioning feedback and iterating with speed.Strong working knowledge of Figma and Adobe's Creative Suite.Proactive self-started with strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and nimble in navigating ambiguity.Experience across the full palette of design expression: traditional, digital (including products), experiential, and ideas that drive earned mediaStrong communication skillsTrack record of self-initiated projectsPortfolio features user-friendly product design, web design and branding work
