The Senior Product Designer works with existing systems, prototyping new features and improvements. In addition, this position leads and manages projects, acts as a mentor for other Designers, works to improve team processes, and shares knowledge through feedback and documentation

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Produce expert-level design work that achieves business goals, delivers value and is easy to use.

Owns and is accountable for large features or projects, as well as leading and managing the full process including research, prototyping, and user testing.

Mentor other designers, providing sound design feedback that elevates the work.

Present complex design work clearly and answer questions from various departments and stakeholders.

Grow team knowledge base through documentation and knowledge sharing.

Share design feedback and collaborate with other designers

EDUCATION

:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE

:

Experience designing for web or digital products.

Experience or interest in using data to inform design and product decisions.

Experience with the full design process including research, ideation, testing, evaluating, and communicating results.

Experience mentoring designers and leading large-scale projects.

Hands-on experience with tooling including Figma, Miro, AHA, and researching packages

Nielsen Norman Group or Google Certifications, a plus.

Experience with Daycare or Child Care applications (web and native) a plus.

COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

Cross-functional mindset and ability to shepherd good practice in UX.

Ability to lead and manage large scale projects.

Expert at Adobe Figma and Miro.

Familiarity with Pendo or similar analytics platform.

Ability to produce stellar design work that is clean, modern, easy-to-use, and solves user and business needs.

Thinks strategically and critically through design work, connecting dots between projects and user feedback loops

Takes ownership in creating a positive work environment for the team.

Enjoys sharing knowledge with others and volunteering to help other designers.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

COMPENSATION:

Pay range for this role is $80,000-$120,000 annually, depending on experience.
