The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree and be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Alaska. They will also have experience working in a clinical setting and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities of the Associate Veterinarian will include:
Performing physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals
Diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries
Prescribing medication and providing medical advice to pet owners
Performing surgery and other procedures
Maintaining patient records
Working with other members of the veterinary team to provide the best possible care for animals
