Network mapping: enabling customers to never miss a deal within their network, and leverage their team for out-of-network deals. Adopted organically by over 30% of our customer base within a week of launch

Founder search: now used by hundreds of teams to pinpoint founders and talent. Supports searches like “show me everyone who worked at a tier 1 investor backed company in product or engineering from the preseed to series A stage, who is now a free agent”

Investor profiles: clear insight into investor activity and relationships

Native CRM integration: real-time syncs in use by over 40% of our customer base

A suite of AI-driven features, such as: personalized relevance scoring, similar company mapping, modeled headcount, standardized descriptions

What you’ll do

Be the point-person for design holistically;

beyond ensuring we deliver excellent product experiences, you’ll make sure we have a consistent design language and a clear narrative that flows from a user’s first exposure to us (marketing collateral) through to in-product experiences. You’ll be the voice for design across the company and will help mentor other product designers.

Shape the direction of our product ; you’ll contribute to and influence the roadmap for our core user journeys to ensure that our users have a delightful end-to-end experience with Harmonic.

Go deep on customer pain points;

you’ll build relationships with customers, design partners, and our go-to-market team to continually gather and incorporate direct user feedback into product designs.

Collaborate with product and engineering to ship quality experiences ; you’ll work directly with product and engineering to iteratively design features that solve user problems and navigate technical challenges seamlessly, ensuring simple and elegant solutions for even the most complex interactions.

What you’ve doneWe hire for potential. We care more about where you’re going than where you are now. That said, we need to know you have the foundation to do this job well, and have demonstrated an exceptionally high rate of improvement.

You should have:

5+ years working in product design, in a role that spanned collaboration with product and engineering

2+ years experience leading a team

A proven track record of shipping impactful products and features with high agency

Demonstrated ability to design simple and compelling experiences

Demonstrated ability to incorporate user context and technical limitations into product development
