Job Description

The KARAMO show is seeking an ASSOCIATE PRODUCER to assist with all aspects of the show's booking of guests and production of segments. This is a project/limited term position with an estimated duration of approximately 6 months unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Book compelling guests/stories to appear on the show on a weekly basisBrief guests who will appear on the show while they are in townCommunicate with Producers about guests and production needsWork with Production, Legal and Accounting teams in handling all paperwork regarding storyAssist Show Producer and delegate to Production Assistants as neededInvolvement in all show day procedures including but not limited to proofreading briefs, requesting Show Elements, guest wardrobeLiaise with Production to make sure all expenditures are accounted for and pre-approvedPitch segment ideas to Producers and Senior Staff

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 1-year professional TV experience with a talk show or news program or other relevant entertainment experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams and navigating the internet

Experience with Daytime talkMinimum 2 years TV Production experience preferredStrong interpersonal skills and previous experience booking guests for televisionStrong research skillsDetail orientedAbility to multi-task and prioritize assignments under high pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to follow direction and work independently when necessarySuperior organizational skillsBachelor's degree preferred
