If you believe in community, come join ours.About This RoleWe seek an experienced content marketer to elevate our content program and drive measurable business outcomes. This role demands a blend of editorial expertise, strategic vision, and data-driven rigor. You will be responsible for overseeing high-quality global content, fostering strategic partnerships, and delivering exceptional content that reinforces Faire's brand credibility, builds trust, and cultivates customer loyalty. This position will report into the Head of Brand Marketing, contributing directly to customer acquisition and strengthening relationships with existing customers.What You'll DoEditorial Oversight: Lead and manage all Faire-produced content, ensuring consistency with our brand voice, tone, and quality standards.Resource Management: Effectively manage editorial resources, including contract editors and writers.Editorial Calendar: Maintain and manage Faire's editorial calendar, ensuring timely and impactful content delivery.Customer Acquisition: Partner with SEO to identify new audiences and conversion opportunities, research and co-develop new customer curriculums, and create thought leadership content.Data-Driven Trends Content: Become the in-house expert for identifying trends and patterns within Faire's proprietary data, concept and archetype data-led stories and projects, and oversee data analysis for quarterly customer-facing shopping trends reports.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to develop and execute editorial programs, including customer case studies, customer stories, and product education.QualificationsExperience: 8+ years of content marketing or editorial experience across various digital media, preferably targeting small businesses.Customer Focus: Strong customer curiosity and empathy, with a deep understanding of what resonates with audiences and the ability to develop insights that generate headlines.Distribution Mindset: Motivated to expand the reach and discovery of content, with a keen eye for identifying opportunities for further distribution.Excellent storytelling, writing, and editing skills: demonstrating a proven ability to craft compelling content that resonates with target audiences.Lead Nurturing: Familiarity with lead-nurturing practices to attract and build audiences with hyper-relevant content.Relationship Building: Experience building trusted relationships with executives and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment across various teams.Measurement and Analytics: Deep understanding of how to measure content's impact and connect it to business outcomes, using data-driven insights to optimize content strategies.Platform Expertise: Experience with principles and platforms for blog production, SEO, and content management, ensuring seamless content delivery across various channels.Program/Process Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects and processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.Data-Driven Rigor: Passion for results and a bias towards execution, using data-driven insights to inform content strategies and measure their impact.Leadership and Management: Strong leader and manager, effectively designing, hiring, and managing partner/freelance relationships.Global Mindset: Ability to think globally and create content specific to European markets, adapting content strategies to resonate with diverse audiences.Salary RangeSan Francisco*: the pay range for this role is $153,500 to $211,000 per year. This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.Faire’s flexible work model aims to meet the needs of our diverse employee community by making work more flexible, connected, and inclusive.
