What you will be supporting:

The Food and Drug Administration Office of Women’s Health (OWH) is seeking professional services to support OWH science related activities, increase OWH’s visual identity, develop informational and educational marketing campaigns, and develop and implement a digital strategy for disseminating OWH social media and digital messages, video content, visual graphics support, and content for print publications for diverse audiences of women, health care providers, and women’s health stakeholders. This includes the development of new informational and educational marketing campaigns or initiatives to promote women’s health topics within the purview of the products regulated by the FDA that impact women’s health, or refinement of existing campaigns or initiatives.

What are we looking for?

A Communication Analyst to support the development and dissemination of digital content and tools across multiple platforms to facilitate OWH digital outreach. Provide social media accounts management for OWH. Function as the main technical resource for creating digital messages, video content, visual graphics support, and content for print publications.

Manage OWH social media accounts including X(Twitter), Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedInMonitor OWH social media channels, analyze and report on best practices to maximize the reach of content, including ideal word counts and overall text given the platform, capabilities of the platform, successful hashtags, and optimal times to postCreate animated or motion graphic, or GIF that is social media readyAssist in the content development for OWH blogs and Ad CampaignsParticipate in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of communication and marketing plans and strategies.Participate in meetings and contributes to technical design, reports, and other feedback mechanisms as appropriate.This is you:

Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearanceExperience with Adobe Acrobat Professional, Creative Cloud, Tableau Creator, as well as graphics design and social media management tools such as Adobe Photoshop, and InDesignFamiliarity with best practices for accessibility following Section 508-compliance, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, digital first, and plain language.Two (2) years of experience in social marketing & communications, digital media content creationYou will wow us even more if you have these skills:

Currently due to the remote working status of the federal government, most DRT employees are teleworking from home and leveraging video conferencing along with other virtual productivity tools. Under normal circumstances, most of our positions are required to report onsite. However, DRT has not yet determined when employees will be required to return to their onsite workspaces. Please be aware that at the time a date is determined to return to the worksite, the requirement of this position may be to report in person to the work location.
